1Be respectful
- Communicate politely and professionally, even when you disagree.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech and discriminatory language are not allowed.
- Use messaging for property and rental matters.
2Be honest
- Give truthful information about yourself and about any property.
- Submit only genuine documents, photos and receipts.
- Do not post false reviews or misleading listings.
3Respect privacy
- Do not share another user's personal information, documents or conversations without their consent.
- Use the map to find and judge homes, never to track people.
- Never ask anyone for their password or login code. Our team will never ask for it either.
4Not allowed
- Creating fake accounts or pretending to be someone else.
- Listing a property you do not own or are not authorised to rent out.
- Asking for money for a unit the tenant has not seen, or outside the agreed terms.
- Using the platform for anything illegal, or for spam and advertising.
- Trying to get into other people's accounts or data, or to get around our security.
5Reporting a problem
- Report a listing or a user through Contact Support or the report button on their profile.
- Our team reviews reports within 48 hours.
- The person you report is not told who reported them. Retaliating against a reporter is a violation in itself.
6What happens after a violation
- First offence: a warning and a temporary restriction.
- Second offence: the account is suspended for 30 days.
- Serious or repeated offences: the account and its listings are permanently removed.
Fraud, fake documents and threats lead straight to removal. We may share information with the authorities when the law requires it.
